Jared Bucci Joins The Team
The PSAHA Board of Directors is pleased to announce Jared Bucci has accepted the position of Youth Hockey Director. Jared currently runs the ISI Learn to Play program for Pierce County Parks. He is an ISI instructor and a PSA (Professional Skater Association) member. He coached the UPS College team in 07-08 and 08-09. He is a level 4 USA Hockey coach and coached for Kent Valley Hockey for 3 years. He was the owner of a company, Fixtures NW Inc., for 10 years. Jared played youth hockey. He then became an all state baseball player. His family ran the Castlegaar Rebels Junior team. Jared is married to Tiffany and has 3 children. His twin boys are 10 and will be playing squirts, and he has a 6 year old daughter. Jared will be working primarily with our Mini-Mite Program, Recreational teams and will coach our Squirt Travel team. He brings the passion to grow our program combined with the ability to run a successful business. Please join us in welcoming Jared and his family to PSAHA.
Youth & Adult Hockey Camp
The Puget Sound Tomahawks Junior A hockey team coaches along with special guest coaches will be hosting a hockey camp August 7th and 8th at the Puget Sound Hockey Center in Tacoma, WA. BEGINNING HOCKEY PROGRAMS
MINI MITES:
Puget Sound Amateur Hockey Association is proud of its beginner program. For many, it is a very important introduction to organized sports and to the world of hockey. Children in our beginner program have a lot of fun while learning the fundamentals of hockey and the importance of sportsmanship.
LEARN TO SKATE:
Puget Sound Amateur Hockey
Association (PSAHA) is excited to offer beginning hockey programs
for boys and girls ages 4 – 18. Classes are on Saturday mornings and
last 1 hour. Sessions last approximately 12 weeks. Children do not
need to have any skating ability. Each skater will need a full set
of hockey equipment to participate. Rental equipment is available
New skaters are enrolled in the beginning skating and hockey
program. We use USA Hockey’s Initiation Program of fun drills and
games to teach our children how to skate and have fun on the ice.............

- Puget Sound Amateur Hockey Association is now accepting applications for coaching positions for the 2010 - 2011 season. PSAHA
Puget Sound Amateur Hockey Association provides the opportunity for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18 the chance to participate in organized ice hockey at both a recreational and competitive travel environment. Many graduates of our youth hockey program have gone on to play at higher levels including Juniors, college and professional programs.
